Louder exhaust pipe

My boy just got a 2017 Forte with 115k on it and the engine was replaced about 15k miles ago due to the known issues. He's now looking for a louder exhaust, not for performance but just for the cool sound. Suggestions please?

If manufacturers know younger drivers want a sportier sound, why not offer affordable, factory-approved exhaust options shouldn't buyers have safe, legal choices instead of relying on questionable aftermarket setups?

I agree 100%, they should start thinking way ahead, it might also be good business for them for sure though it would be a war for business owners. Im sure those OEM and aftermarket product owners would never just let everyone else win

This is especially valid in states where any exhaust other than one that is OEM provided is cause for a failure of the annual emissions/safety inspection and a fine and sanctions for the inspector/inspection station that let it go by.

Good point, definitely something I dont wanna get caught up in. Do you know if they usually give any leeway for aftermarket systems that are still within noise limits, or is it strictly OEM only where youre at?
