KIA forte engined dies when slowing down

My sister just got a used 2020 Kia Forte, and she's already having a major issue. She's only had it for about two weeks and put maybe 900 miles on it, but the car keeps shutting off.

It only happens after she's been driving for a while, like after a long trip. When she slows down or comes to a stop, the car just dies, and there are no warning lights or sounds at all. She says it's especially weird because it only seems to happen as she's getting close to her house.

Her husband is ready to take it back to the dealer, but I told her to see if anyone here has any ideas first.
Has anyone ever experienced something like this with their Forte? Any thoughts on what it could be?

Since it only happens after driving for a while, heat soak might be affecting a sensor or the pump, the dealer should check it under warranty
