Looking for real-world advice so I joined this forum. I've got a 2021 Forte GT manual and I'm itching to push the limits a bit. I just started research on getting a bigger turbo and a tune, and the numbers I'm aiming for are around 295hp at maybe 22psi, but from what I've read so far, I get the impression that stock head studs are garbage. How real is this concern? Am I going to blow my engine if I go for a tune this aggressive without upgrading the head studs? I've seen some people say they've been fine, and others say it's a ticking time bomb. I want to know what the realistic safe limit is on the stock setup before I drop some money on parts that might just blow off my engine. Is 295hp just too much to ask for on the stock bolts? What are my real options here? I'd appreciate getting insights!
