KIA Koup SX stalling Issue

While driving my 2018 Kia Koup SX on the Freeway, it suddenly started running rough and died, forcing me to pull over and get it towed. The battery turned out to have a dead cell, which O'Reilly replaced, and the alternator tested fine, but the car still kept shutting off after running briefly. An independent shop couldnt get it to act up, and it drove about 210 miles home without an issue. Today, just 5 miles from home, it died again and wont restart, showing a key symbol on the dash even though both proximity keys have fresh batteries. It's now booked at a Kia dealer in Kingman, AZ, but i'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

Ok. That key symbol makes me think it could be an immobilizer issue rather than anything mechanical. Hopefully the dealer can pull a code and pinpoint it quickly.

When it dies, does it crank at all or is it completely dead? Knowing that could help narrow down whether it's an immobilizer lockout or more of a fuel/ignition issue.
