Small mods worth doing?

Poking around looking for some light mods I can do on my 2020 Forte LXS, small upgrades like better spark plugs, maybe a drop in air filter, that sort of thing. I'm not aiming to turn it into a track car, just want a bit more responsiveness and maybe some MPG gains if possible.
What have you guys tried?

I think you can start with a quality drop-in air filter from a company like K&N or aFe.
That makes the engine breathe a little easier so you'd get a noticeable improvement in throttle response and a little more power!
Unless your current spark plugs are due for a change, I don't think you'd see a huge difference in performance or MPG.
I recommend sticking with the OEM recommended plugs for now, or maybe a high-quality iridium plug.
You could also look into a quality catch can to keep your intake system cleaner, which is a good preventative measure for the long run.

@ww_jed_d I agree on the drop-in filter. It's quick and you'll feel the difference right away. But anyway, a catch can is smart too, especially if you plan on keeping the car for years. Hope you figure it out, OP.

Are you leaning more toward easy DIY mods you can do in a weekend, or are you open to spending a bit more for upgrades like a tune or intake system?
