Reverse camera

The Audi we have as a main car has a reverse camera so we're kinda used to it, so I'd like to install one on the Forte. How much of a struggle will this be and can you recommend me a kit that works well with this car?

It's not the worlds most complicated job, but it needs some diy skills, a couple of hours of work if you're not rushing things. Now let's come to the recommendations. First we need to know which year is your Forte. If you have a display there could be a way to add an aftermarket camera and have it work off the built in display. If not, there are plenty of universal models that either come with a rearview mirror replacement or come with their own display to mount wherever you want.

Yeah i feel you. Installing one on the Forte isnt too hard if you're okay with some wiring. Auto-Vox and Esky make decent kits that work well. Do you have a factory screen , or will you need a separate monitor for it?

Do you want it to integrate with the Forte's factory screen, or are you fine adding a separate display? That'll make a big difference in how tricky the install will be.
